Uncrewed Collaborative Combat Aircraft designed as a force multiplier for allied air operations
Boeing Australia designs and manufactures the MQ-28 Ghost Bat, a stealth unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) for the Royal Australian Air Force. The aircraft operates as a 'loyal wingman' alongside crewed fighters, performing autonomous missions using AI and advanced sensors. Built at Boeing Aerostructures Australia in Melbourne with future production planned in Toowoomba, the Ghost Bat is the first combat aircraft designed and developed in Australia in over 50 years. It offers approximately one-tenth the cost of crewed aircraft and integrates space-based capabilities for contested environments.
