Overview
The EcoY high-tech vertical farm is a turn-key controlled environment agriculture (CEA) solution developed by Dürr in partnership with Clean Air Nurseries Agri Global (CAN-Agri). It uses sunlight, glass, and patented plant tubes (Grow Tubes) to cultivate salad crops. The system rotates horizontally stacked layers of plants vertically to maximize sunlight exposure, uses up to 90 percent less water than conventional methods, and digitally controls all growth factors (light, moisture, temperature, CO2) via a smart farming system. It is designed for large-scale, near-consumer production in urban areas, deserts, or cold regions.
