Overview

Barry-1 (also designated OTP-1) was the inaugural orbital test platform from Rogue Space Systems. Launched aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rideshare mission in November 2023, Barry-1 validated foundational spacecraft bus technologies in sun-synchronous orbit. The 3U CubeSat carried four wide-field-of-view optical sensors and the first-generation Scalable Compute Platform for onboard edge computing, demonstrating autonomous image capture, onboard data processing, and spacecraft health monitoring.
