Pepper is a friendly humanoid robot designed to be a companion in the home and help customers at retail stores. It talks, gesticulates, and features voice and object recognition, omnidirectional mobility, and an emotion engine that infers user feelings based on facial expressions and tone of voice. Pepper supports twenty languages and includes a tablet display on its chest for information presentation.
