Overview
The Flapper Nimble+ is the world’s first commercially available tailless flapping wing robot, now exclusively available via our website! Developed and manufactured by Flapper Drones, the Nimble+ is a development platform focused on universities, research labs and drone show operators eager to start exploring the emerging field of bioinspired aerial robotics. The soft flapping wings produce a natural, non intrusive sound and make the Nimble+ safe to other objects or humans, yet very responsive and agile. The 49-cm and 114-g Nimble+ is powered by our Crazyflie Bolt 1.1. This means it still enjoys the same perks as our Crazyflies, including the low-latency/long-range radio and Android/iOS app. And what is best, it remains compatible with our extensive ecosystem of software and many of the deck expansions, so switching to the Nimble+ from a Crazyflie is a breeze.
