- Geography is by maker HQ. A robot is attributed to the headquarters country of the company that builds it — not where it's sold or deployed.
- One sector per model. Each model is counted in its primary commercial category. See the methodology for how categories are assigned.
- Active catalog only. Counts reflect active and announced models from live, non-test company profiles with a known country. Tail countries and sectors are folded into "Other."
