GROOVE X develops, manufactures and sells LOVOT, an emotional companion robot designed to invoke feelings of love, provide comfort, and combat loneliness. The knee-high robot features big eyes, soft furry skin, autonomous movement, eye contact, emotion expression, and synthesized voice. It weighs 4.2 kg with dimensions 43 cm height, 28 cm width, 26 cm depth, powered by advanced AI for real-time human-like behavior. Targeted at home users in Japan, where loneliness affects two fifths of the population. Sales began December 2019.
