Liquid Robotics designs, manufactures, and sells the Wave Glider, a wave- and solar-powered unmanned surface vehicle (USV) for long-duration ocean data collection. The two-body design harvests wave energy for propulsion, enabling months-long deployments without refueling, while solar panels power sensors. Customers include defense, commercial, and science sectors for applications like oceanographic monitoring, climate science, seismic detection, and marine security. A Boeing subsidiary since 2016, it operates globally, including Hawaii deployments.
