MenteeBot

Overview

Mentee Robotics' MenteeBot is a 175 cm tall humanoid robot built on an AI-first architecture by a team led by Amnon Shashua, co-founder of Mobileye. The robot features 40 degrees of freedom, a 25 kg payload capacity, and walks at 1.5 m/s with 4 to 5 hours of battery life from a quick-swap system. Dual NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin processors power Sim2Real-trained locomotion, NeRF-based 3D environment mapping, and LLM-powered natural language understanding. The robot uses only vision-based cameras for environmental perception, including 360-degree coverage through fisheye cameras. Custom actuators deliver three times the power density of standard counterparts. Mentee Robotics, based in Israel, targets logistics, warehousing, and light industrial applications.
