Zipline Delivery Drone

Overview

Zipline is an autonomous delivery drone system designed for long-range, high-speed delivery of medical supplies, food, and other goods. The drones fly up to 70 mph (31.3 m/s) on a direct path, independent of ground traffic, and can travel up to 155 miles (250 km) roundtrip on a single charge. They hover at up to 300 feet (91.4 m) and use a parachute delivery system to lower packages safely to the ground. The system includes docking/charging stations (Zipline Charger) and automated packing hubs (Zipline Dropbox), enabling 24/7 operation.
