Overview

ANYmal is a rugged four-legged robot designed for fully-autonomous inspection in harsh industrial environments. Its capable legs allow the robot to go through narrow environments, climb over steps, and navigate steep industrial stairs. With industrial-grade waterproofing (IP67 rated), it can operate in offshore platforms, sewers, and other challenging conditions. The robot features autonomous navigation, obstacle avoidance, and automatic docking for recharging.

Flagship features

  • ANYmal increases production uptime by 1.5% through regular thermal readings
  • Features a ruggedized design with impact protection, dust and waterproof (IP67 rated) for all-weather operation
  • Includes a pan-tilt unit with high-range motion (+/- 90° vertical, +/- 165° horizontal) for efficient readings
  • Equipped with a 360° Lidar, 6 depth cameras, and 2 optical tele-operation cameras for safe navigation
  • Offers a walking range of 2 km (90-120 min) per charge with a quick charge time of 100 min for 70% battery
  • Safety features include an emergency stop, warning light, and safety handles for ergonomic transportation
