Overview
ExcelsiusGPS is a robotic navigation platform from Globus Medical designed for spine and cranial procedures. It combines a rigid robotic arm with full navigation capabilities into one adaptable platform. The system enables repeatable and accurate trajectory alignment and navigation for placing screws, interbody implants, and cranial instruments. It is the first and only robotic navigation platform on the market offering a comprehensive approach from start to finish. ExcelsiusGPS provides real-time trajectory guidance and visualization of integrated instruments and implants, creating safety redundancies throughout the procedure. It supports a variety of imaging modalities including preoperative CT, intraoperative CT, intraoperative fluoroscopy, and MR for cranial applications. The system features a mobile, compact base station, floor-mounted stabilizers, force deflection sensing, and an intuitive pre-planning software.
