Overview

Flobi is a robotic head designed to express humanlike emotions without falling into the Uncanny Valley. It was deliberately designed to be simplistic and cartoonish to make humans more comfortable interacting with it. The robot features a modular design with magnetic components allowing configuration of different faces, and is powered by 18 actuators providing expressive capabilities across eyebrows, eyes, eyelids, lips, and neck movements.
