The Hyundai Chairless Exoskeleton (H-CEX) is a passive industrial exoskeleton designed to reduce fatigue and injury risk for workers who must maintain a seated or semi-squat posture for extended periods. It uses a knee-joint sustaining mechanism that locks to support the user's body weight in a sitting position without requiring a chair, enabling prolonged static work positions during automotive assembly and other manufacturing tasks.
