Overview
JD Logistics' indoor delivery robot is designed for last 100-meter delivery in office buildings, apartment complexes, hospitals, and supermarkets. The robot uses lidar, ultrasonic probes, and depth cameras for obstacle detection and navigation, leveraging JD's self-developed algorithm. It communicates with elevators and access control systems to navigate between floors. Once near the recipient, it sends a text message and phone call with a retrieval password. The robot is part of JD's autonomous delivery ecosystem and is currently deployed in select locations, including the China Overseas International Center in Beijing.
