Overview

The Monarch Platform is a flexible robotic endoscopy system from Auris Health (a Johnson & Johnson MedTech company). A physician drives a controller-guided flexible endoscope, with navigation that helps reach and visualize small, hard-to-reach targets — peripheral lung nodules for bronchoscopy, and areas within the kidney for endourology. It was FDA-cleared for bronchoscopy in 2018 and later for urology, making it the first multispecialty flexible robotic platform for both procedures.
