The Next Generation of Skypod system by Exotec is an all-in-one robot-based AS/RS designed to handle both each and case picking, integrating multiple value-added functions such as integrated buffer, perfect sequencing, and pick-and-pack. The system features a more compact Skypod robot, a workstation for robot-to-robot picking, high-throughput Exchanger, and denser storage, improving throughput by 50% and storage density by 30% compared to the previous generation. It simplifies warehouse operations by reducing the need for external conveyors, sorters, and packing stations, enabling customers to streamline goods flow and reduce system footprint.
