RCS P series is Renishaw’s robot probing solution for fast, accurate alignment and recovery in automated cells.
Flagship features
- Designed specifically for industrial robot end-of-arm tooling, not a stand-alone robot arm
- Enables automated part frame alignment and in-process control, reducing manual reteaching after cell relocation, maintenance, or collision
- Radio transmission uses frequency-hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) at 2.4 GHz, compliant with global radio regulations
- Two mounting variants: ISO 9409 bracket (R-PK1 F) and shank adaptor for spindles (R-PK1 S)
- Pairs with Renishaw RCS RPU for custom macros and automated calibration routines
- Recommended styli: M4, 50-100 mm, with material break stem advised
