Industrial humanoid robots powered by GOVLA embodied AI

AI² Robotics (智平方科技) is a Shenzhen-based humanoid robot company founded in April 2023 by Eric Guo (Guo Yandong), a Purdue University PhD and former chief scientist at XPeng and Oppo. Its flagship product, AlphaBot 2, is a wheeled dual-arm industrial robot powered by the GOVLA embodied AI model — whose open-source variant FiS-VLA outperformed the international benchmark π0 by 30% and earned an endorsement from Turing Award laureate Yann LeCun. Designed for industrial automation in automotive, semiconductor, and biotech manufacturing, AlphaBot 2 delivers over 50,000 hours of failure-free operation and is deployed on production lines at customers including Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor, Huaxian Bio, and display maker HKC (1,000-unit order). The company launched its own production line in September 2025, scaled to triple-digit monthly deliveries by year-end, and is targeting 10,000 units in 2026. AI² also operates 'Smart Cube', a modular embodied AI service space now running in Beijing and Shenzhen. In February 2026, the company closed a Series B of over 1 billion yuan (~$144M) at a 10-billion-yuan valuation, backed by Baidu, CRRC, and Guotai Haitong Securities. CEO Eric Guo has stated plans for an IPO within one to two years.
