  2. 2. The source earns the points, not the tip. An accepted story enters the same pipeline as one we found ourselves, dated to its own publication day. A blog post about a company does not count for as much as a regulator’s filing, no matter who sent it.
  3. 3. It shows up in the next weekly reading. Momentum is a weekly measure. Nothing you send moves a number the moment you send it.

Money events — funding, an IPO, an acquisition — need a major outlet or two independent sources. Recalls count only from a regulator. Those bars are the same for tips and for our own crawlers. Read the full ranking methodology.
