Know something about Hyundai that we missed?
Momentum reads “—” when we have found no news for a company — and often that is our blind spot rather than a quiet quarter. When we last checked forty silent companies against a public news feed, a third of them had coverage we had simply never picked up. One of them had twenty-five articles in a month.
So: if you know about a funding round, a launch, a deployment, a recall, or a filing we have not caught, send the link. It does not matter who you are — we read the source, not the sender, which is why there is no account to create.
What happens to your link
- 1. A person reads it. We check that the page is real, that it actually names the company, and where it was published.
- 2. The source earns the points, not the tip. An accepted story enters the same pipeline as one we found ourselves, dated to its own publication day. A blog post about a company does not count for as much as a regulator’s filing, no matter who sent it.
- 3. It shows up in the next weekly reading. Momentum is a weekly measure. Nothing you send moves a number the moment you send it.
Money events — funding, an IPO, an acquisition — need a major outlet or two independent sources. Recalls count only from a regulator. Those bars are the same for tips and for our own crawlers. Read the full ranking methodology.
