Overview
The HPR-5P robot builder, developed by AIST, is designed for construction tasks, capable of recognizing and lifting gypsum cardboard sheets, and affixing them to walls using screws. Standing 182 cm tall and weighing 101 kg, it utilizes powerful electric motors for movement and can lift objects up to 3 kg. The robot creates 3D maps of its surroundings using cameras and is programmed to recognize up to 10 construction tools.
