Overview
The Human Support Robot (HSR) is a compact mobile manipulator designed to support disabled and elderly individuals. HSR can move around the house, keep watch over family members, and fetch objects from shelves and floors. With its highly maneuverable cylindrical body, folding arm with 4 degrees of freedom, and integrated omni-directional base, HSR is capable of performing a variety of household assistance tasks. The robot features advanced sensing including lidar, stereo cameras, and force sensors, making it suitable for both research applications and practical home support.
