Overview
The Innok HEROS is a modular autonomous mobile robot (AMR) platform designed for custom applications in intralogistics, research, agriculture, mining, and inspection. It features a hardware and software toolbox, allowing 3- or 4-wheel configurations, various attachments, and superstructures. The robot is ROS-compatible, equipped with 2 laser scanners, 2 Intel Core-i7 PCs, cameras, optional robotic arm, and gas spectrometer. It can transport payloads over 300 kg, pull a car, and operate in extreme conditions (-20°C to 40°C, IP65, heat-resistant). Guidance technology includes autonomous navigation, mapping, obstacle avoidance, and people following. Battery life up to 16 hours with autonomous inductive charging. Deployed in international research projects since 2012, including Mining RoX project with TU Bergakademie Freiberg for autonomous mine exploration and rescue.
