At 5:59 AM CDT on July [XXX], 2026 in Parker County, Texas, an Aurora vehicle was traveling on a frontage road at approximately 27 mph at the intersection of [XXX] and [XXX] during a development mission. The Aurora vehicle was in manual mode. The Aurora vehicle was traveling straight through an intersection. The other vehicle was entering the intersection on the left side of the Aurora truck. The collision occurred when the Aurora truck was proceeding into the intersection with a light that had been green for several seconds and the other vehicle was proceeding against a red light. Following the collision, the vehicle operator brought the vehicle to a stop. The Aurora vehicle was towed from the location. The Aurora vehicle had previously been engaged in autonomy and the vehicle operator performed a disengagement well before the intersection and approximately 12 seconds before the collision. No injuries were reported. The Aurora vehicle sustained damage. Aurora will supplement or modify its reporting should additional relevant information become available.

At 14:08 CST on April [XXX], 2026 in Sheffield, Texas, an Aurora vehicle was traveling east on [XXX] at approximately 59 MPH while operating in autonomy. The Aurora vehicle was traveling straight in the lane. Other vehicles were present, including a camper trailer which was adjacent to the Aurora vehicle. The collision occurred when a loose awning from the adjacent camper trailer detached and struck the Aurora vehicle. Following the collision, the Aurora Driver pulled over to a safe location. The Aurora vehicle was driveable from the location. No injuries were reported. The Aurora vehicle sustained damage. Aurora will supplement or modify its reporting should additional relevant information become available.

At 1:54 PM CDT on October [XXX], 2025 in Aledo, Texas, an Aurora truck traveling at approximately 7 mph on an [XXX] frontage road in autonomy brushed against a temporary construction barrier. This was a development test using testing software, not Aurora's commercial driverless software. During development missions, Aurora tests new roads and conditions outside of its current ODD to prepare for safe driverless operations as Aurora expands its ODD. Two vehicle operators and a backseat rider were inside the vehicle. While traversing a very narrow lane between temporary barriers and a ditch, slowly and with support of remote assist, the Aurora truck brushed a roadside barrier, resulting in minor scraping on the side of the truck. The Aurora vehicle operator then disengaged autonomy and manually drove the truck to Aurora's Fort Worth terminal. No injuries were reported. No damage to the barrier was observed.

At approximately 12:03 PM CST on September [XXX], 2025, an Aurora truck with an Aurora ride observer seated inside was traveling southbound on [XXX] in autonomy in Spring, Texas when it struck a mattress box spring in its travel lane. As a preceding light-duty vehicle suddenly slowed and abruptly nudged in its lane, a mattress box spring was revealed on the roadway. As designed, the Aurora truck slowed but due to surrounding actors and travel speed, it elected to drive over the object. After the impact, the Aurora truck pulled to the shoulder in autonomy. Once stopped, the Aurora ride observer inspected the Aurora truck for damage and reported to internal dispatch that the air dam on the front bumper of the vehicle was damaged. The Aurora ride observer then drove the truck in manual to Aurora's terminal in Houston. No injuries were reported.

At approximately 10:55 AM CST on August [XXX], 2025, an Aurora truck was traveling westbound on [XXX] in autonomy during a development mission with an Aurora vehicle operator near Stephenville, Texas. The Aurora truck was in the right lane and approaching an unmarked right-lane closure with no advance warning signs. The Aurora vehicle operator decided to disengage autonomy and attempted to manually merge the Aurora truck into the left lane. During the vehicle operators manual lane change, a passing tractor trailer sped up on the left and made contact with the Aurora truck. The Aurora vehicle operator attempted to alert the other tractor trailer of the impact to the Aurora truck by honking the horn and flashing lights. However, the passing tractor trailer proceeded without stopping, and after being unable to gain the other drivers attention, the Aurora vehicle operator pulled over to the shoulder of the highway to assess damage to the Aurora truck. The Aurora vehicle operator reported damage to the trucks left side mirror and sensor equipment to Auroras dispatch before returning to Auroras terminal in Aledo, Texas. No injuries were reported.
