While the Waymo AV was stopped, a passenger car that had been stopped behind the Waymo AV proceeded to change lanes into the left adjacent lane to maneuver around the Waymo AV. As the passenger car was changing lanes, the right side of the passenger car made contact with the rear left side of the stationary Waymo AV. A Zoox vehicle (Vehicle 1) operating in autonomous mode came to an abrupt stop on [XXX] just after turning left from northbound [XXX] in San Francisco, and was rear ended by a passenger vehicle (Vehicle 2) traveling directly behind it. The Zoox vehicle operator disengaged from autonomy after the impact. There were no reported injuries, and police were not called. The Zoox vehicle was towed from the scene and was found to have sustained moderate damage to its rear end.

An unoccupied Zoox autonomous vehicle was traveling east on [XXX] toward [XXX] in San Francisco when an SUV (Vehicle 2) that had been stationary while in an apparent attempt to parallel park along the right curb suddenly pulled out into the path of the approaching Zoox vehicle. The Zoox vehicle braked hard and attempted to steer left, but the right front wheel and body panel of the Zoox vehicle made contact with the left front wheel and panel of Vehicle 2. The Zoox vehicle was towed from the scene for inspection and was found to have sustained minor damage. There were no reported injuries, and police were not notified

The Waymo AV was stopped facing south on [XXX], partially in-lane and partially at the east curb, when a heavy truck traveling southbound on [XXX] proceeded to pass the Waymo AV on the right. As the heavy truck passed the Waymo AV, the left side of the heavy truck trailer made contact with the right side of the stationary Waymo AV. At the time of the impact, the Waymo AV's Level 4 ADS was engaged in autonomous mode, and a test driver was present in the driver's seating position. The Waymo AV sustained damage. On February [XXX], 2026 at 7:54 AM PT a Waymo Autonomous Vehicle ("Waymo AV") operating in San Francisco, California was in a collision involving a heavy truck on [XXX] at [XXX]. The Waymo AV was stopped facing southwest on [XXX] at a stop sign with its right turn signal activated for a right turn to merge onto [XXX]. After northwestbound traffic came to a stop in the two rightmost lanes of [XXX], the Waymo AV proceeded forward, intending to enter the left-most lanes, and slowed to a stop across the two rightmost lanes of [XXX], yielding to northwestbound traffic in the two leftmost lanes of [XXX]. On February [XXX], 2026 at 2:19 AM CT a Waymo Autonomous Vehicle ("Waymo AV") operating in Austin, Texas was in a collision involving a flat wooden object on [XXX] near [XXX]. The Waymo AV was traveling southeastbound on [XXX] when the front right and rear right tires of the Waymo AV made contact with a flat wooden object that was laying in the roadway. At the time of the impact, the Waymo AV's Level 4 ADS was engaged in autonomous mode. The Waymo AV sustained damage. On February [XXX], 2026 at 8:41 AM CT a Waymo Autonomous Vehicle ("Waymo AV") operating in Austin, Texas was in a collision involving a passenger car on [XXX] at [XXX]. The Waymo AV was stopped facing northwest in the left lane on [XXX] at a green light at the intersection with [XXX]. While the light remained green, the Waymo AV proceeded forward into the intersection then slowed to a stop, and a passenger car initially stopped directly behind the Waymo AV proceeded forward, and the front of the passenger car made contact with the rear of the stationary Waymo AV. At the time of the impact, the Waymo AV's Level 4 ADS was engaged in autonomous mode. Both vehicles sustained damage. Waymo is reporting this crash under Request No. 1 of Standing General Order 2021-01 because a vehicle involved was towed away. On January [XXX], 2026 at 9:06 AM CT a Waymo Autonomous Vehicle ("Waymo AV") operating in Austin, Texas was in a collision involving a bus on [XXX] near [XXX]. The Waymo AV was parked facing south on [XXX], partially in the parking lane and partially in the rightmost lane, with its hazard lights activated for a passenger drop-off. While the Waymo AV was stopped, a bus traveling southbound on [XXX] in the rightmost lane proceeded to pass to the left of the parked Waymo AV. As the bus was passing the Waymo AV, a passenger in the Waymo AV opened the rear left door and the right side of the bus made contact with the open rear left door of the stationary Waymo AV. At the time of the impact, the Waymo AV's Level 4 ADS was engaged in autonomous mode. The Waymo AV sustained damage. The two passengers in the Waymo AV were not belted at the time of the collision as they were exiting the vehicle.
