Every incident, injury and recall on file, from the national registries that publish them. Search a maker, a model, a town or a reference number — or narrow by what happened. Each record is the registry's own text, reproduced without rewriting, with the reference that locates it at the source. Registries count different things, so a total is a count of FILINGS and never a measure of how dangerous something is. How the record was collected.

On January [XXX], 2026 at 11:02 AM PT a Waymo Autonomous Vehicle ("Waymo AV") operating in Los Angeles, California was in a collision involving multiple vehicles on [XXX] near [XXX]. The Waymo AV was traveling eastbound on [XXX] when it maneuvered to the right and came to a stop near the curb, perceiving that there may be insufficient clearance to traverse past the vegetation on the left of the roadway ahead. The test driver then transitioned the Waymo AV to manual mode by pressing the accelerator pedal, steered to the left to reenter the lane of travel and accelerated, and the front right of the Waymo AV made contact with the rear left of a passenger car that was parked at the curb. The test driver then continued to accelerate, resulting in the vehicle travelling down a hill, making contact with vegetation to the left of the roadway and three parked vehicles: the open door of a parked passenger car, the left side of an SUV, and the rear of another SUV. At the time of the impact, the Waymo AV's Level 4 ADS was not engaged and a test driver was operating the Waymo AV in manual mode. All involved vehicles sustained damage. Waymo is reporting this crash under Request No. 1 of Standing General Order 2021-01 because a vehicle involved was towed away. Waymo may supplement or correct its reporting with additional information as it may become available.

Prior to disengaging autonomy, the Nuro vehicle came to a complete at a stop sign at an unprotected crossing of a one-way road with four lanes. The traffic in the cross street was stopped or inching forward slowly due to heavy traffic, leaving the intersection partially blocked by gridlock. The operator disengaged autonomy and and proceeded to drive manually through the partially blocked crossing. While the operator was navigating through a gap in the stopped vehicles, the Nuro vehicle was struck from the left side by one of the vehicles on the cross street. The collision occurred at a very low speed, and resulted in minor property damage to the vehicles but no injures.

On January [XXX], 2026 at 11:30 AM PT a Waymo Autonomous Vehicle ("Waymo AV") operating in San Francisco, California was in a collision involving an SUV on [XXX] near [XXX]. The Waymo AV was parked in-lane facing south on [XXX] for a passenger drop-off with hazard lights activated. While the Waymo AV was stopped, a passenger in the Waymo AV opened the rear left door, and an SUV that was initially stopped directly behind the Waymo AV began to maneuver around the Waymo AV to the left. As the SUV was passing the stationary Waymo AV, the right side of the SUV made contact with the open rear left door of the Waymo AV. At the time of the impact, the Waymo AV's Level 4 ADS was engaged in autonomous mode. Both vehicles sustained damage. The two passengers of the Waymo AV were not belted at the time of the collisions as they were exiting the vehicle. Waymo is reporting this crash under Request No. 1 of Standing General Order 2021-01 because a vehicle involved was towed away. Waymo may supplement or correct its reporting with additional information as it may become available.
