
Overview
Reachy 2 is the first open-source humanoid robot specifically designed for the development of embodied AI and real-world applications. It is a fully bimanual mobile manipulator ideal for AI & robotics labs. The robot features 7 DOF arms with human-like proportions and movements, can lift objects up to 3 kg per arm, and is available in multiple configurations including dual arm, single arm, with or without a mobile base. It can be teleoperated via VR or controlled with Python, runs on ROS2 Humble, and includes CPU-powered system for machine learning and AI framework compatibility.
