Overview

Affetto is an android robot head created by researchers at Osaka University that can mimic human emotions through facial expressions. The robot can scrunch its nose, smile, close its eyes, and frown. The second-generation model features added skin and hair, and uses 116 facial points with deformation units to create nuanced expressions and enable deeper interaction with humans through quantified facial movements.
