Overview

CB2 is a humanoid robot that mimics the physical and mental capabilities of a 2-year-old child. Equipped with flexible pneumatic actuators and soft skin, it is capable of producing babylike motions and facial expressions. The robot is used by researchers at Osaka University to study robot learning and cognition. It features cameras in its eyes, microphones in its ears, and 197 tactile sensors under its skin, with 63 degrees of freedom across its body.
