Why Ecovacs Deebot trended in Q3 2026
Popular Mechanics called Ecovacs' new Deebot X12S smarter, stronger and cheaper than its favourite mopping robot vacuum, though TechRadar said the T90 Pro Omni shook its faith in the brand.
The Deebot line had a mixed quarter. In September, Popular Mechanics reported on the new Deebot X12S, calling it smarter, stronger and cheaper than its favourite mopping robot vacuum. Tom's Guide described trying Ecovacs' "robot vacuum of the future." Vacuum Wars called the Deebot X9 Pro Omni the year's best so far, and HGTV covered the X12 OmniCyclone.
Not all reviews were good. In July, a TechRadar reviewer said their faith in Ecovacs was shaken after using the Deebot T90 Pro Omni.
What is unclear is whether the newer models answer the problems TechRadar found.
