Overview

ROBOTIS K0 is a 1.3 m tall, 34 kg open-source humanoid robot under the AI Sapiens line. It has 23 degrees of freedom — 6 per leg, 5 per arm, and 1 waist joint — powered by Dynamixel-Q quasi-direct-drive actuators (QM-060 and QM-080) built for high backdrivability and precise torque control. All hardware designs, CAD, BoM, software, and simulation assets are publicly released. Targeted at Physical AI research workloads including imitation learning and sim2real reinforcement learning.
