Overview
The Lumos Ego is a head-mounted egocentric multimodal data-collection device designed for capturing training data for manipulation learning. It integrates a wide-angle fisheye camera, high-precision SLAM, hand-joint tracking, and multimodal synchronization. It tracks more than 42 hand-joint keypoints across both hands and provides microsecond-level hardware timestamp alignment across RGB, ToF, SLAM pose, and IMU streams. The device weighs only 235g and supports a wide 20° to 180° viewing adjustment range. It natively supports Ubuntu 20.04 and ROS/ROS2. The STD version includes ToF depth sensing while the Lite version does not.
