Overview

The Unitree R1 Basic is a compact humanoid robot weighing about 25 kg, standing approximately 1,230 mm tall with 24 degrees of freedom. Powered by high-speed PMSM motors and crossed-roller bearings, it delivers agile and precise motion. Top speed reaches around 9 km/h (~2.5 m/s), with joints supporting a payload of approximately 2 kg per arm. Driven by an 8-core high-performance CPU, the R1 Basic features advanced connectivity options including Wi‑Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, and comes equipped with a 4-microphone array, speaker, and stereo camera, making it ideal for rapid deployment and development in robotics demos, educational & research environments, and AI prototyping.
