Overview
Valkyrie is an advanced humanoid robot designed to operate in degraded or damaged human-engineered environments. NASA developed this sophisticated robotic system with the goal of eventually deploying it to space, the moon, and Mars. The robot features 44 degrees of freedom, series-elastic actuators, extensive sensor arrays including multiple cameras and LIDARs, and is capable of fully autonomous operation in complex environments.
