Why Figure 03 trended in Q2 2026
Ran a continuous public livestream of warehouse package sorting in May; Figure also reported its BotQ line reaching one unit per hour.
Figure spent part of the quarter doing something unusual for a humanoid company: running its robot in public, continuously. A multi-day livestream showed the robot sorting warehouse packages without cuts, a direct answer to the standard skepticism that humanoid demos are cherry-picked highlight reels.
The company paired the demonstration with a manufacturing story, talking up BotQ, its own production line, and signalling that it intends to build robots at volume rather than hand-assemble prototypes.
An uninterrupted livestream is a stronger proof point than an edited clip, but it is still a demonstration on the company's own terms, not an independently reported customer deployment. The gap between a robot that can sort packages on stream and one that does so profitably on a customer's floor is the one that still matters.
Figure trended on transparency and ambition — showing the work in real time while laying out how it plans to manufacture at scale.
#4 in the Top 10 for the Q2 2026 report — a new entry this quarter.
